Question by liberti0528: How can I get out of my contract with T Mobile without paying the early termination fee?
i feel betrayed by them :( they offered me an unlimited plan only for “loyal customers.” I have been with them for over 5 years, and being offered the “unlimited plan” for “loyal customers only” made me feel special, so i signed up. 89.95 a month for 2 lines unlimited minutes…and now they are advertising 79.99 a month unlimited minutes to new customers only :( so basically if you are a loyal customer you mean less to them than a new customer. I have paid my bill on time every month for over 5 years, and have signed and completed 3 contracts, and signed a new contract a few months ago when i upgraded my phone.
I did try calling, and they said i can pay the termination fee :(

Q&A: unlocked blackberry curve 8520 work with boost mobile?

Question by Meagan S: unlocked blackberry curve 8520 work with boost mobile?
I have a T-Mobile unlocked Blackberry Curve 8520. T-Mobile’s “Flexpay” (aka prepaid) is what I previously had. I want to switch to Boost’s Blackberry Unlimited plan because it offers a lot more for a lower cost.

My question is – will a Boost Mobile “blackberry unlimited plan” SIM card work in this newer blackberry if it’s unlocked? I would hate to buy one without knowing because I doubt I’d be able to return it to the store if it didn’t. I would really appreciate your help! I’m without a phone right now and needing to know the answer to this so tomm I can have a phone again!

Will Verizon charge me out the ass for using mobile IM?

Question by theturtleparty: Will Verizon charge me out the ass for using mobile IM?
I have unlimited texts so I know it wont charge me for the messages I send but it says “sign-in and IM contact list update commands sent from this application will use airtime that will be billed per your calling plan.” What does that mean? Will it charge me like I’m talking on the phone the whole time I’m signed on? I’m nervous about using this crap because Verizon is a bunch of sneaky jerks.
What does the airtime thing mean?

No they wont. They will just charge each message as a text, but since you have unlimited texting don’t worry about a charge. :)

Good night.

Question by Flo Chen: How much does the average Japanese person spend on calling/e-mailing from mobile phones each month?
I’ve been to the NTT Docomo and au/KDDI websites but I’m still quite curious: I’ve heard that Japanese people tend to use their mobile phones for e-mail more than voice calling since voice calling is expensive.

So… on average…

1. How many minutes would a Japanese young adult spend talking on his/her keitai every month? This is so I can get an idea of what sort of “billing plan” the average Japanese person would go for, i.e. just a 55 minute plan which costs 2415 yen/month with a two-year subscription from Docomo… or something much more substantial?

2. How many mobile e-mails would the same person send per month?

3. Also, how much does the average mobile e-mail cost? Docomo’s website says that i-mode usage costs 0.2 yen per packet, but what exactly is a “packet” and how many “packets” is one message?

4. Finally, if you live in Japan, how much do *you* spend on calling/e-mailing from your keitai every month?

Thanks!!! ^^
To pink__: As you can see, I have already done my research. I would appreciate a more helpful answer from personal experience.

Question by ali (:: Do I absolutely have to get a Premium Mobile Internet Plan for the LG Tritan on US Cellular?
I’m getting a phone for my birthday in August, and I really want the LG Tritan from US Cellular. It’s only around $ 100, but it says it “Requires Premium Mobile Internet Plan” which is $ 20 a month.. I have to sign up for a 2 year contract, so that means $ 480 EXTRA spent on internet for my phone. We can’t afford that extra $ 480, but I would like to get the phone. Is there any way for me to not get the internet, and JUST THE PHONE?

Best answer:

Answer by KlsMyr
Unfortunatly, the Premium Mobile Internet is required. There is no way around not paying the .95 per month for it. When the phone is activated on your account it is automatically added and cannot be removed unless you switch to a phone that doesn’t require it.

Question by Mike: Switching Virgin Mobile Plans?
Me and my sister have the “Texter’s Delight” plan from virgin mobile, and we want to switch plans to the “Beyond Talk Plan”. How do we do so? Also I have $ 10 left on my phone (for talking, buying games, ringtones, ect.) And if I switch plans does that $ go away? If so I’ll just use it up before we switch. Thank you!

Best answer:

Answer by BRITT
You switch on the website. Go to www.virginmobileusa.com. Log in with your info. In your account menu on the left side there is a long list. I think the third or fourth one down says change plans

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AT LEAST 25 DOLLARS IN YOUR ACCOUNT. (or which ever beyond talk plan your want theres a and all they do is give you more talk minutes)

1 The first thing you do is pick your plan. At the top it will say your current plans and under that it will say CHOOSE A PLAN click the bubble of the plan that you want. Click NEXT

2 The second thing you do is confirm your contact info and your payment info (if your going to use top up cards choose cash)]

3 The third thing your do is..well…nothing. your done. click finish and then you will get a virgin alert on your phone

The money in your account dosent go anywhere except what you need to pay your bill. you keep whats left over

EXAMPLE: I had a 1.65 in my account last month before i switched. I bought a card to cover the 25 dollars needed for my bill with 5 dollars left. I did all the above and now my account balace is .65
