Question by Kirby Dixon: Is this possible for family unlimited texting on an individual plan?
Hey, my brother has a plan for T-Mobile and has my mom in his plan. We got a special deal for getting this phone I like, and I might be able to get in their plan too. The problem is, I was wondering if we could get a family plan text messaging for the “Individual plan” that we have.

We can change to a family plan if need be, but I think it would be easier on our current plan.

Question about my T-Mobile unlimited messaging service?

Question by giantsugardogg: Question about my T-Mobile unlimited messaging service?
Today I purchased Unlimited Text Messages for $ 14.99, but on my T-Zones on my phone it still says that I will be billed extra for the text messages that I sent and recieved AFTER I purchased unlimited text messages. It says this under “Unbilled Charges Exceeding Your Rate Plan” on my phone.

Will I be charged that extra? Or will the Unlimited Text Messages bundle exclude that automatically when it comes bill-time?

I need to figure this out, because I don’t want another $ 70 text messaging bill from last month! Thanks!

The T-Zones is an extra service and you will be billed extra for that. The unlimited texting applies to you sending a messages to another phone or vice versa.

Question by hh: is it possible for prepaid phones to have internet access, unlimited texting, and unlimited calling?
I want to buy the Samsung Magnet – GoPhone® – Prepaid – Refurbished (prepaid because I’m underage and my parents won’t get me a normal cell phone). I checked the plan for “Plan: $ 60 Unlimited Talk and Text Feature Package on the Simple Rate Plan”. Is that possible for a prepaid phone? If so what’s the prepaid part about it and what’s so different about it and a normal phone?
Also I’m guessing it doesn’t need a contract if it’s a prepaid but why doesn’t it have a contract if it has all those features like a regular phone?

Q&A: Is the iPhone data plan “unlimited”?

Question by CobMan151: Is the iPhone data plan “unlimited”?
My wife and I will be getting an iPhone with the mandatory data plan. Is there any kind of data limits or is it unlimited? A guy I work with just got one and he told me it’s unlimited. I’ve seen other internet-capable cell phones and there are two data plans, both limited. We will be using our own wireless internet for the iPhone when at home. Anybody who has an iPhone or knows about the plans please advise. Thanx. P.S. I already know about the crazy “international” rates but we never leave the area we live in.

I have 2 iPhones on the unlimited data plan and yes, it is unlimited. We also have the unlimited text messaging plan as well. The only thing “limited” about the phone is using the actual phone – making and receiving. I wish that could be unlimited too.

Question by RiverisLove: Using Twitter through AT&T cell with “unlimited messaging family plan”…?
I have the “Unlimited Messaging for Families” for $ 30 on my cell phone. If send updates to Twitter through texts, or receive updates through texts, will this charge me any extra, or does it count as unlimited?

To be simpler, if I send/receive texts to Twitter through my phone, will I be charged anything other than my regular $ 30?

Do any of you have the same plan as me and tweet through texts?

Best answer:

Answer by Andrew
If you have unlimited messaging and twitter does not charge any extra fees for sending and receiving texts, then no you will not be charged anything other than the .
But, if twitter does charge extra for that then yes, you will be charged for however many texts to and from twitter.

Question by ColeSloth: Shouldn’t crooked cell phone carriers remove the word “unlimited” in their data plans?
“Unlimited” is a very specific word, and Sprint, AT$ T, and Verizon all have what they call “Unlimited Data Plans” capped at a measly 5GB of data. you can go through that very quickly with today’s newer smart phones watching video’s.

Them capping a limit on their bandwidth is one thing, but still referring to it as unlimited in order to deceive people is an outright lie.
This is what I mean. Neither of you have any idea as to what you signed up for. Here’s a link I grabbed real quick.

Question by [jojo] [char~less]: are their any perpaid phone companies that have just the unlimited texting plan?
im looking at buying a Virgin Mobile prepaid Phone but im not sure about the whole “plan” thing?

Best answer:

Answer by Thomas O’Malley
It’s not really a “plan” like your probably thinking of it. You pay the and you get a month of unlimited texting. If you don’t pay it, you just don’t get the texts, whenever you want it back you put money on the account and renew you text message plan option online or through your phone, then it starts over for that month.
